As our annual silent retreat comes to an end, we are filled with gratitude at all that God has done to protect, strengthen, and guide us in this past year. As we return to the United States from a fruitful time studying Safeguarding at the Gregorian in Rome, we are excited to announce our new home—the Catholic Diocese of Lexington, Kentucky.
It’s crucial for us to work with a bishop who sees the need for our mission in the Church. For this reason, we are grateful to Bishop John Stowe OFM Conv., for his support of our mission and for his guidance and help as we begin this work in the Church. We are excited to learn more about the important work being done in the Catholic Diocese of Lexington in the areas of Safeguarding, ministry to the poor, and evangelization. We look forward to continuing to work locally, as well as digitally, in these areas.
As we settle into our new home, please continue to pray for us. We have a great deal to study, pray over and establish as we begin to prepare to invite women to join us in this mission. While we lay this groundwork, we count on your prayers and support.
Finally, we want to thank each one of you for accompanying us on this adventure. Time and again, we have said that we could not have lived these past two years without the support of the People of God. Your certainty that this mission is needed in the Church has buoyed and encouraged us to continue through difficult times. We are grateful to you.
Please continue to pray for the Holy Spirit’s guidance as we move forward.
We are so excited for you!
Bishop Stowe is a compassionate pastor and a wonderful homilist. He baptized our seventh kid at the Cathedral. Our time in Lexington continues to hold a special place in our hearts!
We continue to pray for your success! I think Lexington is a wise choice. We look forward to you being closer to us in Indiana, as well as the Archabbey of St Meinrad and the Abbey of Gethsemani near Bardstown.
