As our annual silent retreat comes to an end, we are filled with gratitude at all that God has done to protect, strengthen, and guide us in this past year.
Bishop Stowe is a compassionate pastor and a wonderful homilist. He baptized our seventh kid at the Cathedral. Our time in Lexington continues to hold a special place in our hearts!
We continue to pray for your success! I think Lexington is a wise choice. We look forward to you being closer to us in Indiana, as well as the Archabbey of St Meinrad and the Abbey of Gethsemani near Bardstown.
I hope your move is beneficial to your mission. I recently read your article on Dorothy Day and your decision to root yourselves in her work. I can't imagine the challenge and scope of rooting in Dorothy Day and the formation of a new Order.
In short I would suggest you look into the work of Dr. Phyllis Beauvais/Wellspring/Promisek in the Litchfield Hills of Ct. She personally worked for Catholic Worker and DD in NYC a long while ago. Her work since those days is significant.
Feel free to contact me if you have additional questions. Regards, Joseph Corey
I am greatly saddened by the news, and sorry that for whatever reason it did not work in Portland. The Diocese of Lexington and the people of Lexington are blessed to have you. God speed, sisters.
Sisters, Bishop John's presence, words, and writing always inspire me to try to live more deeply into the knowledge and love of Christ. The world needs to hear the good news of Jesus and to live the joy of the Gospel. Everyone, including those on the margins, including LGBTQ+ folk, need to hear that Good News.
I come down from Cincinnati to have lunch with Bishop John periodically. Perhaps, on one of those days I could swing by for a visit with you and learn more about your charism as a new community
Also, always remember that prophets are often not welcomed on their home turf. Those are not necessarily encouraging words, but they do speak to those who have a vocational as prophets.
I will be sending you a contribution, small as it might be. Please know that you will be part of my prayers each day. I hope that someday we might be able to meet.
Sisters, I cannot express how excited I am by this news! I grew up in Lexington, Kentucky, attended UK for undergrad, and my parents still live there. Be sure you all cheer for the Cats, maybe have a glass of bourbon on a special occasion, and avoid Nicholasville Rd during rush hour 😆. Also, Shakertown and the Horse Park are a must to visit!
Congratulations, Sisters! Bishop Stowe has been a great support to Dorothy's cause for canonization and the work of Pax Christi and the Catholic Peace Fellowship. It's great to hear that you'll be living out your mission in Lexington!

Welcome, prayers, and support! The Bluegrass is an amazing place to be. Enjoy the hospitality of the region as you settle in.
Wonderful news. Welcome home y’all! I just told Eloise this, and she told me she wishes we still lived in Kentucky. ☺️
Nick, Eloise, Ezra, Dorothy and I are praying for you guys!
May God continue to bless you, Sisters. The Diocese of Lexington, Kentucky is fortunate to have you. Praying for you, please pray for me as well.

This is exciting to learn. I saw in Mass at the Cathedral one evening about a week or two ago.
