Looking over this past year, the generosity and encouragement we received from so many of you has been one way that God continues to encourage us in this mission.

So beautiful, how God works in our lives to love and protect His little ones, including His Little Sisters of the Little Way! We accompany many and allow ourselves to be accompanied, for we are truly One Body in Christ. May this Apostolate be blessed, and may we all learn to love and protect all the little ones, following in the footsteps of these brave sisters. God is going with you! xoxox
May I respectfully ask (because I'm genuinely curious and unfamiliar with this program) what body would find this safeguarding program to be more credible and provide you more opportunities than a course offered by an organization other than a Pontifical university?
This is the only program that we know of at a university that trains people in safeguarding in regard to the unique context of the Catholic Church. Does that answer your question? You can learn more about the program here: https://iadc.unigre.it/academics/diploma-in-safeguarding.html
Thank you for sharing information about the program; I wish there were more details available. I'm curious how this program would compare to secular professional training in safeguarding while supplementing with Catholic resources, since I'm not entirely convinced that the institutional Church would provide the best formation in safeguarding at this time. I'm open to learning more from you all, since you certainly understand the charism so well. Peace and blessings on this journey.
A few things to help you cut costs: 1) reach out to the Gregorian Foundation and Institute of Anthropology directly and ask about their scholarships for sisters. 2) Lodging with the Benedictines of St. Cecilia in Rome is about 800/ month meals included. 3) You will find healthy food to be much less expensive than it is in America 400-500 euro/ month for 2 people is normal. Benvenute a Roma!

We emailed hundreds of convents with no luck, we were told it’s because of the Jubilee year. But thanks for the tip on food, that’s helpful to know!
